The ultra-low-cost carrier Volaris has entered into a new partnership with Sabre Corporation, integrating its content into the SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace. This move significantly expands the options available to travel agencies by adding more than 220 low-cost routes across Mexico, the United States, Central America, and South America to Sabre’s distribution network.

Key Benefits of the Partnership The collaboration is designed to broaden Volaris’ distribution footprint, giving the airline access to Sabre’s extensive global network of corporate and leisure travel agencies. For Volaris, this is a strategic step to capture more of the business travel segment while maintaining its low-cost, high-frequency service model.

Jorge García, Director of Distribution at Volaris, highlighted that the alliance allows the airline to offer its competitive fares to a wider array of agencies that previously did not have access to their inventory. He emphasized that the integration is efficient and flexible, key traits of the airline’s operational strategy.

Enhanced Content for Agencies For travel agents, the addition of Volaris means seamless access to one of the Americas’ fastest-growing airlines. Agents can now search, compare, and book Volaris flights alongside traditional, NDC, and other low-cost carrier content within a single platform.

The content will be available through Sabre’s familiar workflows, including:

  • Sabre Red 360
  • Sabre Red Launchpad
  • Sabre API channels

Chris Wilding, Senior Vice President of Airline Distribution at Sabre, stated that the partnership underscores SabreMosaic’s role in uniting diverse travel content. By bringing Volaris onto the platform, Sabre is delivering greater value and flexibility to agencies, helping them provide travelers with more affordable options.

Broader Impact This agreement reinforces SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace’s position as a leading global source for travel content, which now includes fully integrated inventory from over 150 low-cost carriers. The partnership is expected to drive new revenue opportunities for Volaris while simplifying the booking process for agencies worldwide.
