Flyadeal, a fast-growing budget airline in Saudi Arabia, has signed a new deal with Amadeus, a global travel technology company. This partnership will make it much easier for people to book flyadeal flights through travel agents around the world.

What this means for travelers:

  • Easier Booking: You can now book flyadeal flights through travel agents and online travel sites, not just on the airline’s own website.
  • More Options: Travel agents will be able to see all of flyadeal’s routes and prices in one place, helping them find the best deals for you.
  • Global Reach: While the airline started in Saudi Arabia, this new system will eventually be available to travel agents in many other countries.

Why this is a big deal: Previously, flyadeal focused mostly on selling tickets directly through its own website and app. By joining the Amadeus platform—which is used by tens of thousands of travel agents—the airline can now reach millions of new customers as it expands its international flights.

The big picture: Flyadeal currently flies to over 30 destinations with a fleet of 42 planes. By 2030, they plan to triple the size of their fleet to help make Saudi Arabia a major global hub for travel. This partnership is a key step in reaching that goal.
